Electrical waste, handled properly.

When you purchase electrical or electronic equipment from JTM Technologies, you may return an old item that is the same type or has the same function as the new item, regardless of brand.

Our WEEE take-back service is for household electrical and electronic waste associated with an eligible purchase from us. It is separate from ordinary product returns, cancellations, warranty claims and fault support.

If you purchased through a marketplace, you can contact us through that marketplace. You can also email support@jtmtech.co.uk.

1. Tell us clearly that your request is for WEEE take-back.
2. Provide your JTM Technologies order or marketplace reference and a brief description of the electrical item you want to return.
3. Wait for our WEEE-specific return instructions. We will confirm eligibility and tell you which free take-back route applies. If the item is damaged or unsafe to transport, do not send it until we have advised you.
4. Do not send electrical waste to our registered or correspondence address unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

Electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed of with normal household waste. Separate collection allows useful materials and components to be recovered and helps ensure potentially harmful substances are handled appropriately.

The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on electrical equipment means that the product should be collected separately from unsorted household waste at the end of its life.

Reusing equipment where practical, and recycling it correctly when it can no longer be used, reduces unnecessary waste and helps conserve materials.

If the item contains a battery that is swollen, leaking, damaged, unusually hot or otherwise unsafe, do not send it using an ordinary postal or parcel service. Contact us before attempting to return it and we will advise on the available safe take-back options. Depending on the item and its condition, this may require it to be brought to a specified collection point rather than posted.

Our free WEEE take-back service does not include an entitlement to free collection from your home. We do not undertake or guarantee dangerous-goods transport. If home collection is exceptionally offered, reasonable transport or handling costs may apply.
